It was light enough for our cake, and we were fine with it.We actually forgot to choose a topper until just a few days before our wedding, so it was too late for any of the fancy Etsy ones. Amazon came to the rescue with fast delivery of an accurately described product.This piece is adorable! As soon as we saw it, we didnt look at any others! Fit us perfectly! Everybody loved it!This was exactly what we were hoping for, pretty, well painted, and ceramic.This was a beautiful cake topper. I absolutely loved it. It was classy, elegant in the front, and naughty and playful in the back. However, before the end of my wedding night, it fell to the side and the groom's head broke off onto the cake. So now, our beautiful cake topper which was supposed to be a memory for a lifetime is broken. The groom's head is missing. I am so very upset about this. I don't even have the original packaging anymore to try and contact the seller because I had to bring the cake topper to the venue the day before the wedding so they could have it prepared for me on the cake. they never returned the box it came in. this is highly upsetting to me. so be very careful with yours --- they are VERY fragile. It didn't even fall. It just tipped over to the side while sitting on top of the cake. So I used some high gloss spray paint and it worked beautifully! It feels very sturdy and makes me smile every time I see it. Can’t wait to put it on our cake!We were definitely hesitant to spend the money. It is super cute though, well-packaged and we believe it will be great for the cake and as a keepsake. Will try to remember to update after the wedding.My son and daughter in law chose this as their wedding cake topper and although not really to my taste it was well made and neatly finished and they were very pleased with it. It was delivered very quickly only about 4 days from the USA and was extremely well packaged.Well made and quite pretty in an odd sort of way. Chosen by son and his future wife for their wedding cake, certainly a bit different! However the quality is good, it doesn't look tacky, and can be used as an ornament afterwards.I have bought this cake topper for my sister's wedding and I was pleasantly surprise at how beautiful it is.
