Details: I am 5ft5in, 148lb at the time of these pictures. It fit very well and the fact that it laces up means it's very forgiving if you gain or lose a few inches between the ordering and actual wearing of the dress. I lost 3 inches around my waist within the 3 months of having purchased it up to the Friday before the Sunday wedding. It is definitely not as "big/poofy" as the amazon pictures suggest, but it would be easy to add a big poofy petticoat underneath it to make it that full if you want, and it's got plenty of room to walk comfortably and keep your legs free (I could even Sumo squat butt to grass with no problem at all). There is a LOT of fabric, but it's not too difficult to pick up and carry around. The leaves/lace decorations are VERY lovely and shimmery and you don't need any bling on this dress for it to really shine in the sun naturally.So, a short summary, I bought several dresses online in an attempt to try them out and pick the final one. This dress what purchased last out of 4, mostly on a whim because it was so affordable, anyway. I didn't have a princess cut dress to try on yet, and I couldn't say no to that style unless I tried it first, but I didn't have high expectations since I was really looking for a mermaid/trumpet cut.Long story short, this dress beat all those other dresses out of the water. The seller was very communicative and helped answer my questions. I only needed the straps altered, the rest was PERFECT. I couldn't have asked for a better dress.P.S.!!
